Hockey Day 2025: Event Promotion Project
Project Overview
Hockey Day Minnesota is an annual celebration of the sport of hockey. Each year thousands of fans turn out to watch their favorite local teams face off in the great outdoors, the way the game was originally played. In 2025, my home town of Shakopee was selected to be the host site of the celebration. As a huge hockey fan and skilled designer I immediately jumped at the opportunity to volunteer my services and make 2025 the best Hockey Day yet. The main focus of my efforts was to provide social media, website and print assets to promote the event. I worked closely with the board of directors and event planning committee to execute on multiple small projects.
